What is a cis woman?
A cis woman is someone who identifies as a woman and was assigned female at birth. Cis women may experience gender dysphoria, but many do not. For the most part, cis women share the same experiences and challenges as other women, such as earning less money than men for doing the same work, experiencing street harassment, or struggling to be taken seriously in traditionally male-dominated fields. However, some cis women may enjoy certain privileges that other women do not due to their status as a member of the dominant gender group.
